Ill Parents Desperate For Trump’s Healthcare Repeal Take Shocking Action After McCain Killed It

As you probably know by now, the Senate was unable to pass the repeal of the socialist health care that former President Obama rammed through while in office. Despite the years of complaining and promising by our representatives in Washington, and after 7 years of time to get their plan just right, when the time came, they screwed the pooch and didn’t get the job done.

This is awful on a financial and economic level because the un-Affordable Care Act is putting a terrible strain on our economy and undue stress on the healthcare system. It’s awful on a long term care level because not only will the best and brightest not work in public hospitals where they may or may not get paid, but the government is going to get to decide who gets the care since they’re footing the bill.And if all of that wasn’t enough, the hard working men and women who pay taxes, previously had insurance and get sick through the natural course of life are being made to pay huge out of pocket costs that they would never have had to pay with private insurance.

It’s gotten so bad that many have gotten desperate enough to take drastic measures. It’s sad to think that something that was billed as “healthcare” could plunge people into such disrepair that they lose all hope, but that was the case with one New York couple who just couldn’t take the bills they would have been leaving behind them, if they’d lived through their health problems at all. This couple decided, immediately after the health care repeal failed, that they couldn’t go on, and made the decision to end their own lives.

“A couple committed suicide by jumping out of a window of a New York City office building together in desperation over their inability to afford health care.

The incident happened early Friday morning in the Murray Hill neighborhood of Manhattan – just a block from the Empire State Building.

A 53-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman jumped out of a ninth-floor window of the 17-story commercial building on the corner of Madison Avenue and 33rd Street around 5:45am.
Their bodies were covered with white sheets once police arrived at the scene, shutting down the entire block to investigate.

The couple left behind suicide notes in a ziploc bag, that also included their IDs. Police have not released their names yet, but a photo obtained by the New York Post shows part of the letter, and it identifies the woman as Patricia. The note was titled ‘We had a wonderful life’.

A law enforcement source who spoke with the Post said the woman’s note said: ‘Our kids are upstairs, please take care of them’.

The man left one behind too, which read: ‘We both have medical issues, we just can’t afford the health care.’

The building that the couple jumped from includes offices for law and advertising firms, therapists offices and commercial space.

No further information on the couple has been released. It’s unclear how many children they left behind.

Perry Kim, 49, a worker at Pure Green, a juice shop on the same block, said that he was outside just after 5:30am this morning when he heard an ‘ahhh’ noise and saw two people fall from the top of the building.

The man appeared to hit his head and the woman had suffered abdominal injuries. They landed face up to the sky.

He said his manager called 911 and police and EMTs were there soon after but the bodies were immediately covered.

Javier Guzman, who works at the shoe repair shop across the street, told DailyMail.com that he had come into work around 6:45am and had seen the couple lying in the street.

He said: ‘I didn’t recognize them but they looked young, in their forties.’

He said he believed they had jumped from the 9th Floor window which remained open.

The couple committed suicide just a few hours after Senate Republicans tried to pass a bill that would repeal Obamacare.

But three members of their own party – including Sen. John McCain – voted against the bill and it failed to pass, keeping the Affordable Care Act in place for now.

Sen. McCain said that he voted against the bill because it was irresponsible to take health care away from millions of Americans without a new plan to replace it.

Sometimes it’s hard to see, and sometimes it looks like you might never get there, but ending your own life isn’t the answer.

And as for the overgrown fat cats in the Senate that decided their petty grievances were more important than giving hard working Americans the relief that they need, I pray they feel this blood on their hands from this day forward. I hope they understand that these aren’t just numbers on a page, they are mothers and fathers and sons and daughters whose only hope is in a system that they have no control over.

Shame on every single one of our Representatives for not doing what it takes to rid our country of this strain on our ability to get well. May you never forget the pain and suffering of this family, and every family burdened by what you’ve done.

John McCain’s Obamacare vote praised by Chuck Schumer

The 80-year-old maverick is described as someone who strongly “speaks truth to power” after defying his party and Donald Trump.

US Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer has praised Republican senator John McCain for voting against repealing Obamacare.

Mr Schumer said: “I have not seen a senator who speaks truth to power as strongly, as well and as frequently as John McCain.

“The very same courage he showed as a naval aviator in Vietnam, he showed last night…He’s just a wonderful man. I treasure his friendship and just the fact of knowing him.”

Mr Schumer also paid tribute to the two female Republican senators who also defied their party, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine.

Urging members to “turn the page in another way”, Mr Schumer said of Senator McCain: “All of us were so inspired by his speech and the life of the senator from Arizona.

“And he asked us to go back to regular order, to bring back the Senate that some of us who’ve been here a while remember.”

But he and two other Republican senators voted against the key amendment, which was narrowly defeated by 51 votes to 49.

Speaking about his decision to defy his party’s leadership, the maverick senator urged Republicans and Democrats to work together for a fresh start on healthcare reform.

“Our inability to address the pressing healthcare needs of the American people with meaningful and lasting reform is inexcusable,” he said.

“The vote last night presents the Senate with an opportunity to start fresh.

“It is now time to return to regular order with input from all of our members, Republicans and Democrats and bring a bill to the floor of the Senate for amendment and debate.”

McCain, 80, joined Republican colleagues Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine in voting against the so-called ‘skinny repeal’, officially titled the Health Care Freedom Act. All 48 Senate Democrats also rejected it.

The measure would have overturned the mandate that most individuals get health insurance and suspended a requirement that large companies cover their employees. It would also have delayed a tax on medical devices.

Mr Trump, who had made replacing Obamacare central to his successful campaign for the White House, responded on Twitter, saying those who voted against the repeal move had “let the American people down”.

A long-time opponent of Obamacare, Mr McCain said soon after the vote in the early hours of Friday morning: “From the beginning, I have believed that Obamacare should be repealed and replaced with a solution that increases competition, lowers costs, and improves care for the American people.

“The so-called ‘skinny repeal’ amendment the Senate voted on today would not accomplish those goals.”

First I would like to say that I offer Senator McCain my sincerest prayers and hopes that he makes a speedy recovery from this awful disease that has plagued him. But putting all that aside it’s now time to call a duck by its name. Yes, McCain was a “Maverick” when W was president, and now he has gone full traitor under President Trump. But oddly during the Obama years, he was mostly silent on every idiotic policy the Marxists in the Democrat Party wanted to shove down the throats of the American People.

When President Trump was “candidate” Trump, he promised to bring “jobs, jobs, jobs” back to America. Revitalizing the economy was one of his major campaign slogans. His attention to the “forgotten” men & women of our nation helped him break through the Democratic “Blue Wall,” turn 3 blue states red, and emerge the victor in the most historic election of all times.

In his inaugural address, national hero Trump took on the elitists & globalists, and proclaimed that a new era of American greatness for the people was about to begin:

“For too long, a small group in our nation’s Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered, but the jobs left and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country.”

He went on:

“Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have not been your triumphs. And while they celebrated in our nation’s capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land. That all changes — starting right here and right now, because this moment is your moment: It belongs to you.”

Since the election, Americans have witnessed a major uptick in economic growth, for the most part, all because of Trump & his focus on making America great again.
“Since November 9, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is up over 17%, the NASDAQ has cleared 18%, and there’s been a 13% increase of the S&P500. Headlines announcing that one of these indexes has reached an all-time high have become so commonplace that the public and media has grown increasingly deaf to the news. Overall, the stock market grew more in Trump’s first 100 days than in any presidency since 1989.

Other hard numbers show increasing cause for optimism in the Trump economy, as well. The U.S. added 863,000 jobs since January, bringing unemployment down to its lowest levels since 2001. And 220,000 jobs were added in June alone, outperforming expectations by 20%.

The Consumer Confidence Index is hovering at a higher range than it was at any point during the Obama administration, and in March, Gallup’s weekly U.S. Economic Confidence Index reached its highest point since its surveying began.

The Philadelphia Fed Index, essentially a measure of Northeast manufacturing, has increased noticeably since President Trump was elected. The survey showed that 51% of regional manufacturing firms increased activity in May, and one-third are predicting an expansion of their payrolls through the end of the year. This jives well with the Trump administration’s touting of the 41,000 manufacturing jobs added since January.”

Now, on top of all this winning, President Trump has scored another major victory that will upend the apple cart that is the 2020 presidential election.

Foxconn, a massive Taiwanese company that builds electronic parts for the likes of Apple & others, announced it is building a gargantuan $10 billion manufacturing plant in… The state of Wisconsin. Up to 13,000 jobs will be created in the state with each job paying an average of almost $54,000 a year. Republican Governor Scott Walker’s office “said the deal could result in up to 22,000 jobs,” with 10,000 from construction of the plant.

Trump shocked the nation when he won this traditionally blue state by over 20,000 votes. As the economy is a good bellwether as to whether a president will win reelection, the move by Foxconn could seal the deal for Trump in 2020.

In what’s being called the largest economic development project in state history, Taiwanese electronics giant Foxconn plans to build a $10 billion plant in Wisconsin that would create liquid-crystal display panels and employ as many as 13,000 people.

The planned Wisconsin plant is expected to open in 2020 and be part of a 20 million square-foot campus on at least 1,000 acres — a location Gov. Scott Walker has dubbed “Wisconn Valley.”

The state would offer $3 billion in economic incentives, Walker said.

The plant — announced Wednesday at a White House ceremony by President Donald Trump, Walker and others — could be the first of several facilities the company wants to build in the United States.

“It starts today with this investment in Wisconsin,” Foxconn chairman Terry Gou said at the White House.

The Wisconsin facility is expected to employ 3,000 people initially and add up to 10,000 more workers in future years.

In addition to Gou, Trump and Walker, House Speaker Paul Ryan of Janesville, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson of Oshkosh and Vice President Mike Pence attended the announcement. Other members of the Wisconsin Congressional delegation, and state lawmakers, were there.

“Today we’re announcing the single largest economic development project in the history of Wisconsin,” Walker said, noting the plant would be 11 times the size of Lambeau Field. “These panels will be made in America, proudly in the state of Wisconsin.”

Ryan said the planned project is “an absolute game-changer,” for southeastern Wisconsin, where his district lies.

Trump, in turn, said his election helped make the deal possible. He said Foxconn is coming “to a state that’s very close to my heart — Wisconsin.”

“If I didn’t get elected, (Gou) definitely would not be spending $10 billion” on the project, Trump said.

President Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, also announced the deal on social media. Libtards, in epic fashion, started melting down immediately.

Liberal Ben & Jerry’s Has Been Sneaking Something SICK Into Ice Cream – Here’s Nasty Reason Why

Hold off on that next bite of Cherry Garcia. You may want to know what might be in that tasty bit of dreamy ice cream before you ingest it. It’s been sadly reported that Monsanto’s toxic herbicide glyphosate has been found in numerous flavors of Ben & Jerry’s ice creams. It’s suggested that the levels of the horrible ingredient are below levels that can do harm, but what if someone eats an entire container in one sitting and have now ingested harmful levels of the glyphosate?

This is the same chemical that’s killing coral reefs, so imagine what it can do to the inside of your body. It also goes by the name “Roundup” which you may have heard or seen before if you’ve got even the littlest green thumb. Roundup is a chemical used to eradicate weeds or grass. It’s something people use in their yard to get rid of unwanted vegetation. Sadly, the herbicide is a bit dangerous and I believe there might even be warnings to not let the product be spilled into running water or streams.

One harmful belief, affecting humans, is that glyphosate causes cancer and nonalcoholic liver disease. You can literally not ever have a drink in your life and wake up one morning with your liver rotting away thanks to glyphosate.

Ben & Jerry’s claims they’re investigating the origin of where this product comes from, as they believe it’s not particularly used in their supply chain, so they’re digging deeper to find ways to stop using the GMO.

We’re working to transition away from G.M.O., as far away as we can get.But then these tests come along, and we need to better understand where the glyphosate they’re finding is coming from. What exactly is glyphosate?

Glyphosate is a non-selective herbicide, meaning it will kill most plants. It prevents the plants from making certain proteins that are needed for plant growth. Glyphosate stops a specific enzyme pathway, the shikimic acid pathway. The shikimic acid pathway is necessary for plants and some microorganisms.

Conflicting reports say it’s a probable carcinogen that causes cancer. Other reports said it is completely fine to use, when used in recommended doses. What are the recommended doses of something that potentially causes cancer? Some studies blame this chemical on the unfortunate demise of coral reefs who struggled to survive.

How does the herbicide Glyphosate work? It works by blocking protein synthesis in vegetation, causing it to lack amino acids that are required for growth. So basically, it prevents the plants from future growth and the plant typically does not survive much longer.

How does Roundup work?
The active ingredient in Roundup is glyphosate, a systemic chemical that travels throughout the plant from leaves to roots once the plant absorbs it. Glyphosate is non-selective, meaning that it kills any plant it falls upon, so preventing overspray or drift is important. Glyphosate works by inhibiting the production of an enzyme necessary for the plant to produce certain amino acids. Once in the environment, glyphosate binds very tightly to soil where bacteria break it down in about six months. Herbicides containing glyphosate are generally used to control weeds and grasses but in higher concentrations will control brush and volunteer sprouts from stumps.

Is it possible that Ben & Jerry’s uses products that come from farms which use Roundup products, or similar items? Absolutely! In fact, Ben & Jerry’s might not be fully aware of what their suppliers do when no one is looking. It might not be Ben & Jerry’s fault at all.

The only way to figure out where the Glyphosate comes from is to investigate every place that Ben & Jerry’s gets their ingredients from. They also need to investigate their own factories and see if there’s anything lurking around there.

It’s a very good chance that this product has snuck into the ingredients without Ben & Jerry’s having any idea. Further investigations will hopefully put an end to the use of such a lousy chemical that doesn’t really benefit us from a consumers point of view.

Other groups testing for glyphosate have found it in Quaker Oats, Cheerios, Ritz Crackers and Stacy’s Simply Naked Pita Chips, among a range of other products. The companies behind those products have all noted that the glyphosate amounts fell well below regulatory limits.

Isn’t that something! Popular American breakfast and snack items might be laced with plyphosate. Cheerio’s is advertised as the healthy cereal that helps people drop their cholesterol levels. I guess that came with a tradeoff! How many people eat Ritz crackers all the time? We eat them with cheese and it’s a great snack to have out at parties.

What’s next for Ben & Jerry’s? Time for some deep internal investigations and make sure other suppliers they’re working with aren’t using the same chemical.

Trumps Just Arrived To Shocking Surprise At His Golf Course Upon Returning Home From France

Running the world isn’t an easy job, and the President has had a pretty busy week. His time has been
taken up with not only taking care of the business he was hired to do but also putting out all the little
fires that the media and left like to start to distract him (and us) from the truth.

The First Couple is fresh from their trip to France where they charmed the French leader and his wife, further solidifying the bond between the United States and France. But instead of going straight back to the White House, they made a pit stop by one of their own golf clubs in New Jersey. The President was delightfully surprised by who he found there, as were those he found.

The President’s Trump National Golf Club is hosting the US Women’s Open, and on Friday the President made a guest appearance. While the media would have you believe that everyone who sees our Commander in Chief is put out by his presence, as it turns out the players and observers alike were delighted to see the President at his course.

“Donald Trump’s arrival at the US Women’s Open in New Jersey on Friday delighted spectators – but left the players themselves feeling under par.

Trump visited his Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey, where the competition was being held, and was greeted with chants of ‘Make America Great Again’ from his thrilled fans.

But the noise – during a sport in which silence is mandatory from crowds – and the pressure of playing under the president’s gaze, was too much for some of the competitors, The New York Times reported.

Trump arrived during play on the 15th hole, as Lexi Thompson, the highest-ranked US women’s player and third best in the world, was preparing to hit the ball.

Thompson herself didn’t realize until she noticed that the crowds had all turned their back on her to gaze at Trump as he peered out from a viewing room close to the 14th, 15th and 16th holes.

But the president himself was watching her – and even though she’s been known to play a round or two against him before, Thompson lost her nerve under the pressure.

‘I didn’t have the best shot in front of him,’ said Thompson, who hurried her chip and is now seven shots behind the second-round leader, Shanshan Feng.

Things became worse during the 16th hole, when fans began cheering Trump, who stood at the window and gave them a hearty thumbs-up.

‘Guys, we still have play going on, folks, all right?’ a staff member says from off-camera – to little effect.

The noise was not ideal for American Lauren Stephenson, a 20-year-old amateur who is at even par through 36 holes.

‘It was definitely a little distracting,’ she said. ‘We had a lot of people yelling and just a lot of movement, but it’s pretty cool to be in the presence of the president, so I guess he gets a pass.’

Brooke Henderson, who is tied for 10th place, was also sanguine about her presidential upstaging.

‘It’s really amazing that the president of the United States is here to watch us play golf and on a tremendous golf course,’ she said. ‘I’m really excited and it was a great opportunity.’

The USGA, which awarded this event to Trump in 2012, took a lot of criticism for failing to move the tournament when comments made by Trump about women came to light in the past year.

It also was suggested that if the president attended the event it would take the spotlight from the players.

It did Friday when he became the first sitting president to attend a US Women’s Open.

Warren G. Harding (1921) and Bill Clinton (1997) were the only other sitting presidents to attend USGA events, going to the US Open.

President aside, Feng was the star on the course for the second straight day.

The 27-year-old Chinese player shot a two-under 70 and had a 36-hole total of eight-under 136.

The 6,732-yard course played even longer because of rain over the past two days. Feng, who has had one bogey in 36 holes, didn’t see Trump.

‘I heard people like kind of screaming so that’s what I was trying to find out, like why they were screaming,’ she said. ‘But I was still really focusing on my game. I didn’t really get distracted.’

We’re so sorry that some of the golfers were distracted by the appearance of a sitting President, but unfortunately, he’s kind of more important than they are. It’s not like he went around riling up the crowd. It’s his course, he’s the President and people are happy to see him. It would have been strange if people hadn’t paid attention to him when he arrived. Yes, golf is usually a quiet sport, but when the leader of the free world shows up, all bets are off.

This surprise was a happy one, for not only the Trump’s but for those in attendance at the golf event and it’s nice to see the American people showing some appreciation for their leader. If the snooty golfers don’t like it, they should probably wear earplugs. We waited a long time for a President that we can be proud of, and we won’t be quieted just because it throws off your game.
